Jo Piazza O'Mara is a pastor's wife whose first novel, Garden of Hope is set in Lawrence, Massachusetts where Jo was born and raised.
Jo has ministered alongside her husband, Ed, in churches in North Central Pennsylvania and Northeastern Pennsylvania for thirty-five years. Jo holds a degree in Information Systems Technology and a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Care Management from King’s College. Upon retirement from her career as Director of Admissions for a large retirement community she turned her attention to her long-time passion of writing Christian fiction. Although she moved from Lawrence when she married, fond memories of her childhood in New England inspired her to write Garden of Hope. Jo is a voracious reader and enthusiastic gardener, but what she really enjoys is cooking for her large family. Jo and her husband have four children and seventeen grandchildren. Presently, the O’Maras reside in Northeastern Pennsylvania. |

Garden of Hope
by Jo Piazza O'Mara
Purchase: [Kindle | Amazon | The Book Depository] The robust Agosti family shared almost everything with each other—laughter and good-natured teasing, genuine love and loyalty, and lots of Mama’s mouthwatering Italian food. But a devastating illness and the discovery of one, decades-old secret tore father and son apart and threatened to undermine the once-solid family foundation of three generations. Told from the perspective of oldest sister Trina, Garden of Hope celebrates the joys of a small-town life, the privilege of being surrounded by God’s love in a Christian family, and the peace and redemption that comes when forgiveness happens and joy is rediscovered. |
