Julianne Jones was born and raised in the beautiful Hunter Valley of New South Wales, the inspiration behind many of her novels, and grew up hearing stories about the early settlers from her paternal grandmother.
Julianne is a wife, mother of five, grandmother, and early childhood teacher, and divides her time between family, writing, teaching, playing the piano and flute, and various handicrafts. In 1996 Julianne and her family moved to New Zealand where they have enjoyed numerous outdoor pursuits. Julianne has been in love with words as long as she can remember. She has adopted John 20:31 as her writing motto: “But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His Name.” |

by Julianne Jones
Purchase: [Kindle] It rained the day Damien proposed. A gentle falling rain that carried the salt from the ocean and released the scents from the nearby flowering bushes. As he slipped the solitaire ring on to her finger she thought she must be the happiest person alive. Damien loved her! Damien Hamilton was everything Madeline Johnstone could wish for. Tall, good-looking, charming, and with an exciting career, she couldn’t believe that he had chosen her. The day of their wedding she believed all her dreams had come true. Little did she know that the nightmare was only beginning. The choices Madi makes will cause ripples that will affect not only her but also her daughter, Jaena, her family and friends, destroy a lifelong friendship, and jeopardise Jaena’s relationship with the handsome Mitchell Gallagher. |
