Mary Connealy writes romantic comedy with cowboys. She is a Christy Award Finalist, a Carol Award Finalist and an IRCC Award finalist. She has over a half million books in print.
Mary was a stay-at-home mom when she started writing but during those years her children grew up and she got a job, working forty hours a week, teaching GED, for at least five years. Mary wrote for ten years before having her first book published. When she did get her first contract she had twenty finished books on her computer at home. She had just enough encouragement through those ten long years to keep on writing. She is the author of the successful Lassoed in Texas, Montana Marriages, and Sophie's Daughters series, and her novel Calico Canyon was nominated for a Christy Award. Mary lives on a ranch in eastern Nebraska with her husband, Ivan, and has four grown daughters. Shop for Mary Connealy novels at
